How to measure the size of a pair of glasses?
For each model you will find the size indication made up of a series of three numbers preceded by the model reference:
MODEL REFERENCE OR MANUFACTURER NAME |
GLASS WIDTH |
DECK WIDTH |
BRANCH LENGTH |
LODT309-S |
47 |
22 |
145 |
Understanding this code will allow you to measure the size of the model and compare it with a pair of glasses you already own or directly with the measurements of your face:
The first value is the name of the model , then the glass width and finally the bridge width . There is generally a third number which corresponds to the length of the branch, that is to say the measurement in millimeters of the "arms" of the frame. You will sometimes also find a fourth digit corresponding to the glass height. . Each of these numbers is measured in mm. |
